How To Enable Downloads

Let your fans take your music anywhere. With downloads, they can save tracks for offline listening, anytime, on their terms.

When you release music on EVEN, your fans can stream it directly through our web browser or mobile app, available on both Android and Apple devices. However, for fans who prefer greater flexibility, you can also enable downloads. This feature lets your audience download your music directly to their devices so that they can listen offline anytime, anywhere.

Steps to Enable Downloads

Step 1: Upload Your Release

After entering your release information in your Backstage account, you'll be prompted to upload your tracks.

Step 2: Locate the Download Feature

On the new music release page, you’ll see an option to unlock the download feature for your release. Click the checkbox to enable downloads.

When you enable downloads, fans will see an icon (a downward-facing arrow) on the music player. This lets them download tracks directly to their phone or computer, so they can enjoy your music anytime, anywhere.
