EVEN Onboarding Guide: Getting Started with Backstage

Your journey on EVEN starts with setting up your artist account. This guide walks you through how to sign in, claim your profile, and complete your payout setup so you can start earning directly from your fans.

Part 1: Set Up Your Profile

Step 1: Sign In and Claim Your Artist Profile

The first step of onboarding is creating and confirming your artist account. This gives you access to Backstage, where you’ll manage your music, sales, and audience in one place.

1. Visit the Homepage

Go to backstage.even.biz.

Click Start Earning Today to begin.

2. Sign In

Enter your email or phone number, then click Sign In.

You’ll receive a verification code by email.

Enter the code to continue.

3. Review Terms and Conditions

After signing in, you’ll be taken to the Terms and Conditions page.

Review the information and click Accept and Continue to move forward.

Step 2: Find Your Artist Profile

Search for your profile on Spotify. This helps us get your EVEN profile up and running faster!

Search for your artist name or paste your Spotify link to locate your profile.

If you’re not an artist, you can select Sign up as a label or skip this step for now.

When you find your artist profile, click Continue, then select Yes, this is me to claim your account.

Step 3: Fill Out Your Details

Complete the form with your artist name, country, bio, and upload high-quality images (profile pic, banner). Avoid any images involving drugs, weapons, or excessive nudity, as these may delay approval.

Part 2: Approval and Payout Setup

Once your profile has been approved, you’ll receive an email confirming that your account is live. When you log in again, you’ll be taken to your EVEN Backstage dashboard.

Step 1: Start Payout Setup

Click Set Up Your Payout Account.

You’ll be redirected to Stripe, the secure payment processor used by EVEN.

Select Continue to Stripe to begin.

Step 2: Verify Your Account

Enter the email address you used to sign up on EVEN, then select Submit.

You’ll receive a verification code by text. Enter the code to continue.

Step 3: Complete Business Setup

Choose to link an existing Stripe account or create a new one.

Follow the prompts to verify your information and confirm your account details.

Once verified, your Stripe account will automatically connect to EVEN.

Key Considerations for Setting Up Your Artist Account on EVEN

Profile Picture Standards:

Keep it clear and professional—no nudity, violence, or drug-related imagery. Your profile is the face of your music. Make it inviting and respectful for all.

Verify Your Music Links:

To legitimize your artist profile, link at least three music tracks. This gives fans direct access to your sound and solidifies your place in the EVEN community.

Accuracy Counts:

Fill out your profile with true and up-to-date info. When fans see transparency, trust grows. Make it a habit to keep your details up to date —from your bio to release updates.
