How To Create A Stripe Account
To start receiving payouts for your releases, you’ll need to connect a Stripe account to the EVEN marketplace. This setup verifies your identity and ensures smooth transfers directly to your bank account. Here’s what to do based on your role:

1. New Artists
When you’re creating your artist profile, you’ll automatically be directed to Stripe’s onboarding process to link your new account with EVEN. Be sure to use the same email address for both your EVEN and Stripe accounts to keep things seamless.
2. Collaborators
If you’re part of a release and have a revenue split, you’ll receive an email with a link to complete Stripe onboarding. Look for an email with the subject "Act Now: Secure Your Daily Payouts on EVEN with Stripe!" and follow the instructions to set up your account. Complete the setup before the release goes live to ensure you’re eligible for daily payouts.
How Often Will I Get Paid?
Daily for releases that have generated over $25 in revenue.
Weekly on Thursdays for releases under $25.
Payouts may take 24–48 hours to process, depending on your bank.
EVEN’s Revenue Share
EVEN takes a 20% revenue share at the time of sale, covering all transaction fees for both fans and artists. For instance, if your release makes $100, you’ll receive a net payout of $80.

How Revenue Splits Work
Revenue splits let you share earnings with your team, including labels, managers, producers, and more. During the upload process, you’ll assign percentages to each collaborator and enter their email addresses.
Setting Up Revenue Splits

Add Revenue Split: Go to Revenue Split section of your release, click on ‘Edit Revenue Splits’, and then ‘Add Revenue Split’
Complete Setup: Enter their email, country, role, and percentage. Ensure all splits add up to 100%. New users will receive an email to set up their Stripe accounts for payouts.
Editing Splits: You can adjust revenue splits in the Releases tab only before a release is approved.
Can I Set Revenue Splits for Individual Tracks?
Currently, revenue splits are only available at the project level (for the whole album, EP, etc.), not for individual tracks.

To edit splits on a release that hasn’t yet been approved:
Go to Releases in your dashboard.
Select the release you want to update.
Click on the Revenue Splits section on the right or the three-dot menu to adjust percentages or add new users.
Note: Edits can only be made for pending releases. Once approved, splits are locked.
How Record Labels Get Paid on EVEN
Revenue is split into Music Share and Access Share, each representing 50% of total earnings. Here’s an example:
If a release makes $1,000:
A label with 20% of the Music Share earns $100 (20% of $500).
The artist receives 80% of the Music Share ($400) plus the full Access Share ($500), totaling $900.
This split system ensures fair and clear revenue distribution across your team and partners.
